Welcome to Shuttertide. Shuttertide is a product of SMAD Labs, the entity that operates this Service ("SMAD Labs," "Shuttertide," "we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
When you register for an account using Google Sign-In, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account profile to create and manage your user profile on Shuttertide.
We may collect information about how you access and use the Service, such as your browser type, device type, and pages visited.
If a photographer enables Face Search for a gallery, Shuttertide scans gallery photos to create face data that helps visitors find photos where they appear. Turning Face Search off makes visitor search unavailable for that gallery, and prepared gallery face data may be retained so the photographer can turn the feature back on without preparing the same photos again. Visitor selfies are used only to perform the search and are not saved. We do not use gallery photos, visitor selfies, or face data to train AI models.

We prioritize the security of your data. We utilize Supabase, a secure backend-as-a-service platform, to store and manage user data and content. Supabase implements robust security measures to protect your information.
We use Google Authentication to securely verify your identity. We do not store your passwords on our servers.
